David is a mechanical engineer by training and received his PHD back in 2016 from the Technical Univerisity of Darmstadt. In the same year he Joined BMZ as project manager and later Team Manager before moving to Switzerland, to work in different positions along the entire battery value chain from cell production, pack assembly, heavy-duty mobility applications until he joined KYBURZ-Switzerland AG in 2023 in the field of battery recycling, where his main focus lies with business development and communiations as well as intelectual property management.
