Don Lenz is the Vice President of Global Sales at Lithium Werks, B.V. where he is driving rapid adoption of Lithium Werks’ best-in-class lithium-ion battery technology. Don has extensive experience in sales assessment, market & product development, and commercialization of battery technologies, where he has established quality long-term relationships with clients, supplier/business partners, as well as global battery industry professionals using a consultative, strategic, and solution-oriented sales approach.
Don has over 38 years in the industrial battery industry, including flooded lead acid, VRLA, NMH, and lithium-ion battery markets from stationary (UPS, TEL, UTIL/renewable energy), to motive power (lift trucks/AGV, marine, automotive, aviation/aerospace), and commercial electronics (medical tools, carts, & equipment).
Don’s extensive experience was developed from working directly with hundreds of power engineers in varying markets and working for top battery OEMs including Exide Corporation, Yuasa Exide (currently called EnerSys), Douglas Battery Manufacturing Co, C&D Technologies, Valence Technology, Leoch Battery Corp., and Lithium Werks. Don’s knowledge and expertise has been nourished by participating in 38 years of global multi-market, annual battery industry conferences and tradeshows.
