Luciana has gained diverse professional experience in Brazil, Singapore, England and Germany. After her PhD in chemistry, she continued her research in top research institutes and private companies. Since 2017, she has been working at the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems in Freiburg. Initially, the focus was on investigating the degradation mechanisms of polymer layers in solar modules that occur during long-term weathering. From 2020, she switched to the field of battery cells with the development of non-destructive methods for the quality assessment of battery cells.
