Description

Development of a method based on the spatially resolved and contactless detection of expansion changes of battery cells during a few charging and discharging cycles. In this way, the quality of battery cells can be verified at the end of production and the current range of end-of-line tests can be expanded. In addition, the large amounts of data generated will be used to develop machine learning algorithms to evaluate the results.
