Christian Baur studied Chemistry at Ulm University and holds a PhD in Chemistry. He graduated with distinction from the Helmholtz Institute Ulm, where he focused on next-gen lithium-ion battery cathode materials. Since joining P3 Christian has been part of the E-Mobility Industrialization and battery & cell technology team. He is an expert in the battery materials value chain from raw material mining, via cell production to battery recycling. His projects encompass due diligence, market entry and direct foreign investment strategies, technology and process and cost benchmarking and carbon footprint assessments. The customer landscape covers automotive OEMs, raw and battery material producers, cell manufacturers and recyclers.
