Anwar Ahniyaz, a senior scientist, at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden. He got a PhD degree on Material Science and Engineering in 2002 from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan
In 2005, he joined the research group of Prof. Lennart Bergström, the Materials and Environmental Chemistry Department (MMK), Stockholm University and 2007 to the RISE Research Institutes of Sweden. In 2020 he was appointed as an adjunct associate professor of Material Chemistry, the Stockholm University, Sweden.
His current interest is energy storage, especially development of battery active materials for new cell chemistries, slurry engineering, electrode fabrication and cell testing.
