Highly Dynamic Battery Management Test System with Real-time Electrochemical Impedance Simulation (ZSim)
Description
o Aim of the project, carried out jointly by Fraunhofer IEE and MicroNova, was to raise the electrical simulation of battery cells for the development of algorithms for battery management systems to a new technological level. Future generations of BMS will use advanced measurement methods such as electro impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The most important innovation in this project was the possibility to simulate the dynamic state of a battery for any operating point.
