Description
This presentation will focus on reliable and efficient methods of implementing battery disconnect using MOSFETs and gate drivers.
The different MOSFET generations will be shown as well as their usability in the Battery Management Systems.
The dependency of key MOSFET parameters will be explained (e.g. SOA) as well different protection architectures.
As a conclusion, the experimental results of the MOSFET based solution are showcased to the audience.
