Safe and recyclable lightweight battery solutions
Description
In the presentation, solutions for lightweight battery housing designs that include active cooling concepts, self-supporting actively and passively cooled battery modules, and approaches for sustainable module design will be presented. These solutions are realized using a combination of aluminum foam, phase-change-material and fiber reinforced plastics, among others. An insight into the results of various research projects will be provided.
