Europe's battery ecosystem faces challenges: raw material shortages, skills gaps, rising energy costs, and investments flowing outside Europe. #StrategicAutonomy in batteries is at risk. 68% of planned battery production capacity in Europe faces delays or may not materialize, says Transport and Environment. New EU state aid frameworks like TCTF and regulations like CRMA addressing these challenges. But is it enough? In this talk we provide updates on IPCEI project and TCTF funding in Germany.
